Capsule does not automatically add B-roll to your projects. Instead, you can choose to upload your own media or use CoProducer™ to generate an image with AI.
Add B-roll in Capsule
Select the part of your transcript where you want B-roll to appear.
A menu will pop up—click Media.
Choose the type of B-roll you’d like to add:
Click AI create to use AI-generated b-roll
Click upload to use your own image or video
Click upload via URL to add your own image or video from a Google Drive link
Customize your B-roll:
Click the three dots next to Asset and select Edit
From this menu, you can:
Choose the scale of your b-roll to fit or fill the screen
Choose custom effects of how the b-roll appears on the screen
On the main component property menu, you can:
Change the animation style
Make it full screen or part of the frame
Adjust its on-screen position
Adjust the size of the b-roll
Adjust the duration of time that the b-roll appears on the screen
✅ Tip: Use B-roll to add context, visual interest, or supporting detail to your main footage.
