You can adjust where your captions or dynamic captions appear on screen. Capsule uses a nine-position grid system so you can quickly place captions in the best location and adjust with fine tuning.

Avoid Captions Overlapping With Your Subject

Avoid Captions Overlapping With Your Subject

  • If captions cover someone’s face, mouth, or eyes, move them to another position.

  • To adjust placement:

    1. Click on the Captions component in the left-side panel to reopen settings.

    2. Under Position, choose a different dot in the grid.

    3. Use the fine tuning features for additional adjustments.

Avoid Captions Getting Cut Off

  • Some platforms (like TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube) display icons or overlays that can hide captions.

  • To prevent this:

    1. Open the AutoFrame menu.

    2. Select the platform where you’ll be posting.

    3. Capsule will automatically reposition captions with extra padding so they remain visible.

Tip: Always preview your video before exporting to make sure captions are easy to read and don’t overlap with important visuals.
