When publishing your video, you may need to adjust the aspect ratio so it looks correct on different platforms. Each platform has its own ratio and user interface. Capsule makes this simple with the AutoFrame tool.

Use AutoFrame to Change Aspect Ratios

  1. Open the AutoFrame menu.

  2. Add one or more Frames to your project.

  3. Capsule will automatically:

    • Resize your video for the selected aspect ratio.

    • Shift your motion graphics into safe positions so they are not covered by the platform’s user interface (e.g., profile icons, buttons).

Edit by Frame

  • Click on any Frame to edit your project specifically within that aspect ratio.

  • This lets you make small tweaks for each platform, such as adjusting text placement or resizing graphics.

Share and Export in Multiple Aspect Ratios

  • All the Frames you selected will be included when you share your project with others.

  • When you export, you can choose the versions you need for each platform.

Tip: Use AutoFrame to prepare vertical videos for TikTok or Instagram, horizontal videos for YouTube, and square formats for social feeds—all from the same project.
