Adding Captions

Adding captions to your entire video, or just a section of it.

  1. Select the portion of the transcript where you want captions to appear.

    • Example: Select the full transcript if you want captions across the entire video.

    • Example: Select just a section if you only want captions for part of the video.

  2. A menu will appear above your selection.

  3. Click Design.

  4. From the list of designs, choose Captions or Dynamic Captions.

Capsule will automatically generate captions based on your transcript.

Edit Captions Text

The text for your captions comes directly from the transcript. To make changes:

  • Click the pencil icon next to the transcript to edit words.

  • Fix spelling and grammar issues.

  • Correct any mistranscriptions.

  • Stylize words (for example, using capitalization or punctuation) to adjust how they appear in captions.

βœ… Tip: Always review your video after adding captions to ensure timing and readability are accurate.
