After you have selected the design system you like, and edited it with your brand, you can add any of those design components into your project.

Adding Motion Graphics as Clips

Use this method when you want design elements to appear as standalone clips in your video.

  1. With Pro view turned off, click the ➕ button.

  2. Select the design component you want to add (e.g., intro, outro, branded slide).

  3. The component will appear as its own clip.

  4. Adjust the clip duration by dragging its edges in the timeline or adjusting it in the properties panel.

Adding Motion Graphics on Footage

Use this method when you want design elements (like watermarks, captions, or callouts) to appear on top of existing footage.

  1. Highlight a section of your transcript.

  2. The highlighted section determines how long the component will be visible.

Choose the design element you’d like to overlay (e.g., watermark, text callout, caption).

Editing Components

All components can be customized after they’re added.

  • To reopen a component, click its name in the left-side panel.

  • Adjust the duration by dragging the yellow highlighted section in the transcript or in the properties panel to the right.

  • Some components have locked properties. For example:

    • Captions automatically pull text from your transcript.

    • Since captions are generated, you can’t manually input text for this component.

Timing Components Using Pro View

When using Pro View, you can:

  • Hold Shift to snap components to other clips.

  • Align multiple design elements to display simultaneously or consecutively.

Deleting Components

To remove a component:

  1. Navigate to the left-side panel.

  2. Select the component you wish to remove.

  3. Press Delete on your keyboard or right-click and press Delete.
