B-roll is supplemental media that is intercut with your main footage. You can add images or videos as b-roll to any of your projects!

Media Menu

Highlight the section of your transcript where you want the footage to appear. This will activate a menu where you can upload your own media!

Animation Options

Select an animation option, or select none for a clean jump cut. Having no animation can be helpful if you are layering a lot of media together, like in a product demo.

Sizing + Positioning

You can choose to have your media cover the full frame, or adjust the size to have it appear with your main footage. This can be great for talking through charts or showing icons, without covering up your main subject!

AI-Generated Images

If you don't have access to a media library, use the AI Image option to generate an image based on a prompt and style.

Additional Settings

When uploading a video as your media, click on the three dots and 'Edit' to open up additional settings.

You can adjust the start and end times of what part of the video you want to play, lower the volume or mute it, and easily fit within or fill the frame.

Timeline View

When in Timeline View, if you have multiple components added, you can hold down shift to snap your b-roll to match your component timings or specific cuts in your footage.
