Why might I still get a copyright claim on YouTube?
Even though the music in Soundtrack is licensed for your use, some tracks are registered with YouTube's Content ID system. Content ID automatically scans every video uploaded to YouTube and checks it against a database of audio and video files copyright owners have submitted.
If it finds a match, your video gets a Content ID claim. This is not a copyright strike and doesn't mean your video is taken down. Depending on the copyright owner's settings, a claim can block the video, run ads against it, or simply track its viewership.
How to resolve it
Capsule can give you a code that tells YouTube your music is licensed, so the claim clears automatically, usually within minutes.
Click Share on your video
Go to the Export tab
Click the ••• next to the Export button
Select Copy YouTube Content ID
Paste the code into your video's description as its own line, when you upload to YouTube
If a claim still doesn't clear on its own, you can dispute it directly in YouTube Studio, citing your license through Capsule as the reason.
