Soundtrack will add music to your entire project, but sometimes you might only want music to play at the beginning or end of your video.

For example, playing a podcast's theme song when showing a title card for the latest episode.

Uploading Your Own Music

To add a music track in Capsule, you'll need to upload the audio file first.

After it's done uploading, you may see it appear as a grey rectangle. You can still add motion graphics to this!

Switch to Timeline View in the lower left portion of your screen. You'll see an option 'Click to Add Design' appear above the audio. You can upload your own media here, or use one of Capsule's preset motion graphics to create an intro.

One warning - if you do add music this way, you will not be able to use the Soundtrack feature.

Using Soundtrack

If you'd like to use Soundtrack and only have music play at the beginning and end, make sure AutoMix is turned on.

Click on Advanced to open up additional volume settings, and lower to -100%. This will mute the background music volume while your subject is talking.
