By default, the Soundtrack tool adds music across your entire project. However, you may only want music to play at the beginning or end of your video—for example, a podcast theme song during the title card. Capsule gives you two ways to do this:
Upload Your Own Music
Upload your audio file into your project.
After uploading, the file may appear as a grey rectangle in your timeline.
Don’t worry—you can still add motion graphics or designs to this clip.
Switch to Timeline View (bottom-left corner of the screen).
Above the audio clip, click Add Design.
Add your own media or use one of Capsule’s preset motion graphics to create your intro or outro.
⚠️ Note: If you add music this way, you cannot also use the Soundtrack feature for the same project.
Using Soundtrack
If you’d like to use Soundtrack but only have music at the start and end:
Open the Soundtrack section in the CoProducer toolkit.
Select a track from Capsule’s music library or generate one using AI Search.
Turn AutoMix on. This automatically lowers the music volume when dialogue begins.
Click Advanced to open additional volume settings.
Set the volume to -100% during sections where you don’t want background music (for example, while your subject is speaking).
