Adding Music

You can add music to your video in Capsule using the Soundtrack section of the CoProducer toolkit. Capsule provides AI-powered music suggestions, or you can upload your own audio file.

Pro tip:
Add music as the very last step in editing your project. That way you can hear how the music sounds with your final edit.

Add Soundtrack to your video

  1. Open the CoProducer toolkit and go to the Soundtrack section.

  2. Capsule’s AI will analyze your transcript and recommend music selections that match your video.

  3. To explore more options, click AI Search and enter a prompt (for example, “uplifting acoustic” or “cinematic background”) to generate custom suggestions.

  4. Select the track you want to use.

  5. After selecting a track, you can:

    • Adjust the volume to balance music with your video.

    • Trim the clip to fit your project’s length.

    • Enable AutoMix to automatically lower music volume during dialogue and raise it during pauses.

ℹ️ Note: All Capsule-provided music is copyright-free and safe to use in your videos.

Upload Your Own Music

If you’d like to use your own audio file:

  1. In the Soundtrack section, click Upload Track.

  2. Select your audio file from your computer.

  3. Once uploaded, you can adjust volume, trim, and apply AutoMix just like with Capsule-provided tracks.

Tip: Use AutoMix whenever your video includes dialogue—it ensures your soundtrack complements the speech instead of overpowering it.
