You can adjust the framing of any footage you've added to your project. This can be especially helpful if you use the Auto Frame feature to resize your canvas!

Clip Settings

Adjust the crop or position of your footage from the clip's settings - click on any clip to open up the settings menu in your right-side panel.

Underneath 'Scale' you’ll see different options for reframing.

Fit / Fill

Fit and Fill are quick ways to change the position and scale.

Fit will fit your clip within the frame and will not crop your footage.

Fill will make sure that the clip covers the entire frame, which may result in cropping.

Positioning

The X and Y coordinates will adjust the position of your footage.

Entering a negative number in the X box will move your footage to the left, a positive number will move it to the right.

A negative number in the Y box will move your footage up, a positive number will move it down.

Zoom

You also have zooming controls - anything higher than 100% will crop your footage.

Click on the checkmark to save your changes!
