You can adjust the framing and position of any footage in your project. This is especially useful when using Auto Frame to resize your canvas for different aspect ratios.

Clip Settings

  • Click on any clip in your project timeline.

  • Open the settings menu in the right-side panel.

  • Under Scale, you’ll find multiple options for reframing.

Fit / Fill

Fit and Fill are quick ways to change the position and scale.

  • Fit → Fits the clip within the frame without cropping.

  • Fill → Expands the clip to cover the entire frame (some cropping may occur).

Positioning

The X and Y coordinates will adjust the position of your footage.

  • X axis: Negative numbers move footage left; positive numbers move it right.

  • Y axis: Negative numbers move footage up; positive numbers move it down.

Example: X = -10 and Y = 10 moves the clip left and down.

Zoom

  • Increase above 100% to zoom in (cropping may occur).

  • Decrease below 100% to zoom out (background may be visible).

  • Click on the checkmark to save your changes!

Tip: Use Fit for clarity, Fill for edge-to-edge coverage, and X/Y adjustments for precise positioning across different platforms.
