You can adjust the framing of any footage you've added to your project. This can be especially helpful if you use the Auto Frame feature to resize your canvas!

Adjust the crop or position of your footage from the clip editor - double click on any clip to jump into clip editor mode, or right-click and select 'Edit'.

Above the clip's timeline, there is a menu with a 'Crop' button.

Selecting 'Crop' will open up options for adjusting your footage.

Fit and Fill are quick ways to change the position and scale.

Fit will fit your clip within the frame and will not crop your footage.

Fill will make sure that the clip covers the entire frame, which may result in cropping.

The X and Y coordinates will adjust the position of your footage.

Entering a negative number in the X box will move your footage to the left, a positive number will move it to the right.

A negative number in the Y box will move your footage up, a positive number will move it down.

You also have zooming controls - anything higher than 100% will crop your footage.
