You can adjust how long a motion graphic or design component appears in your project by editing its duration.
Adjust Duration in the Transcript
In the left-side layers panel, click on the component you want to edit.
The component’s duration will appear as a yellow highlight in your transcript.
To change the duration:
Drag the beginning of the yellow highlight to set a new start point.
Drag the end of the yellow highlight to set a new endpoint.
Adjust Duration in the Timeline
Select the component above the timeline that you want to edit.
The component’s duration will be highlighted in the timeline.
To change the duration:
Drag the start handle of the highlighted region to set a new start point.
Drag the end handle of the highlighted region to set a new endpoint.
✅ Tip: Preview your video after adjusting component duration to make sure the timing aligns with your footage and dialogue.
